Friends and challenges
How do I add a friend?
Send your invite link from the app, or find friends by username or contacts you choose. They install DuoShare and tap the link.
How long are challenges?
7, 30 or 66 days. Challenges can have a daily target such as pages, minutes or kilometers.
How many people can join a challenge?
Up to 4 for free, 5 to 10 with Pro.
Can I share my progress outside the app?
Yes. Milestones, finished challenges and weekly recaps become cards you can share to Instagram, Messages or anywhere, with the goal name hidden if you like.
Streaks
How do streaks work?
Your streak grows every day you check off at least one goal. Your friends see it, and a widget shows it on your Home Screen.
What if I miss a day?
Mark a goal N/A once a week without breaking your streak, and catch up on days you forgot to log from the goal’s calendar.
Does my friend missing affect my streak?
No. Everyone keeps their own streak.
Privacy
Who can see my goals?
Only friends you choose. Goals are private until you share them, and nothing on DuoShare is public.
Is my journal shared?
Never.
Does DuoShare use Apple Health?
Only if you choose to show your activity. Access is read-only (workouts, exercise minutes, steps), and DuoShare never writes to Apple Health.
